Villanova, close to Cinque Terre has 8 rooms, doubles, triples and suites,all fitted with en suite bathrooms, satellite TV, minibar and telephone(some with kitchenette).The apartments, all kitchen fitted, can take up to four guests and are suitable for those that wish to spend a more indipendent holiday (all with TV sat, telephone and washing machine). A delicious breakfast, served in the garden with home made cakes and jams, is available for all Villanova 's guests.

It offers a warm welcome to the guests in its apartments and rooms; the apartments are located in the XVII century villa and in the rectory (adjacent to the Family chapel), while the rooms have been built in the main villa and in a XIX century stone building. The refurbishment and the interiors have been carefully made in order to maintain the historical characteristics of the place; the furniture, the family paintings and ancient prints give the guests the sensation of a journey in the past, like the noble ancient travellers.

A drop of olive oil, a taste of wine, a leaf on a branch, a farm in the green; small things, sometimes, become big. All of this can happen in Villanova, a wonderful XVII century estate a few minutes away from the ocean and the most characteristic coastal villages in the world, the Cinque Terre. 5 pearls drawn on the stone and the sea, where the salt enters the windows and invites you to go out and celebrate the harvest of special grapes kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind.
The Massola Barons family used to spend the summer holidays here, in the ancient agricultural estate where daring farmers worked hard to produce the scented olive oil and the quality wine of Western Riviera



On Sundays, the bell sound of the Family chapel used to get them together to pray and to rest from the hard duty of cultivating such an ungxenerous land.
Today Villanova keeps all these traditions but at the same time looks to the future and opens to the world; the Barons' villa and the old farmers' buildings has been refurbished to welcome the visitors of this part of Liguria today recognized as "Humanity treasure" from UNESCO.
Immersed in the green of olive yards and vineyards, Villanova is a little pearl close to the National Park of the Five Lands.


Perhaps it should be better to say "Five Lands plus one": Levanto, an ancient coastal village full of history and traditions with an historical centre made with coloured house fronts, beautiful churches and small lanes. This part of Liguria is the excursionists paradise; thanks to a thick network of paths above the sea, one can enjoy the beauty of this coast; the vine farming in the characteristic terraces held by rock walls has made this place unique in the world.
